What was I thinking?!
*laugh* I probably won't be here tonight! I've got a H.E.R.O. meeting to go to - with girlie time at Cracker Barrel afterwards! Maybe I'll have time to pop in here before I go. *wink*
Check this out Christy - a church in Lawton does it - and one just started in Cleveland!! =) I have heard a lot of great stuff about this program, and it's a great way to save on groceries!!
Ummm....*embarrassed laugh* I know the first two letters are for 'home educators'. *cheesy grin* I forgot the others...I'm guessing the O is for Organization. Maybe I should go look at my membership card? *laugh* Aha! H.E.R.O. is Home Educator's Resource Organization. *thumbsup* (I knew they were handy. *giggle*)
Jessica - glad you like the organization! They are a great service to the community. *smile* We've participated before....would you believe that I can shop even thriftier than that? *bug-eyes* I didn't know I could either till I put myself to the challenge. (not the same items - I'm talking about #of meals for the $$) Thanks for thinking of me and sharing it! (((hugs)))
Pearl - I was a bit disappointed. I was really craving chicken-n-dumplings...they just were NO WHERE NEAR as delicious as hubby's c-n-d's. But the Coca-Cola Cake was lip smackin'. *grin* I should make that myself some Saturday....*musing*
Points for Christy for thrifty shopping!!! =) I knew you were a good shopper... I forget how I knew... something your hubby said about you one night at Bible Study! We haven't tried this out yet, but we plan on it sometime soon - I could shop cheaper, but wouldn't get as good stuff =) I am waiting for a month with NO fish stuff!
